Public Perception of Wasps Survey

Hello, I’m Laura. I'm currently working as a Higher Education Placement Student at the Field Studies Council,  taking a placement year from studying at Harper Adams University in Shropshire for a degree in Wildlife Conservation and Environmental Management. I have had a lifelong fascination with the outdoors, whether it be a walk in the Clwydian mountain range (my home turf) or rustling around in garden to see what I find.

I have always had a passion for the weird and wonderful, especially invertebrates, they come in so many colours, shapes, sizes and roles in the environment. I am particularly interested in wasps, and what roles they play in the environment, how the public view them and what the public know about them.

Dissertation Project: Public Perception of Wasps

For my dissertation I am conducting a survey to ascertain what the publics view are towards wasps and what the reasoning may be behind this.
